Norman Mastbaum graduated with an M.A. in Counseling and Personnel Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1972. After working as a counseling Psychologist for eight years, he was asked to develop a program for dislocated workers in St. Paul, MN, that featured group counseling and placement objectives. This program gained national prominence during the nine years it was directed by Mr. Mastbaum.  He also has appeared on television and radio discussing the probability at-risk individuals have in securing employment.

Mr. Mastbaum currently works as a vocational expert in the Social Security court system, and as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant with the Workers' Compensation system of Minnesota. In addition, Mr. Mastbaum speaks Spanish, allowing him to work with the Hispanic community throughout the State with their vocational and rehabilitation issues.
