Kris Mondeel

Kris Mondeel has provided Statutory Rehabilitation Services for over 20 years within the state of Minnesota.  This has included both medical and vocational services.  She holds a Masters Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and has passed the Graduate Medical Exam from Abbott Northwestern.  Kris is fully licensed to provide services to industrially injured persons within the state of Minnesota.

Ms. Mondeel takes a very individual approach in dealing with persons for whom she provides services.  She understands that each person is a unique individual and has their own specific needs.  Kris is excellent at helping people identify their individual needs and developing medical management and vocational plans in order to assist them through their medical recovery, thus leading to a successful return to appropriate work.

Kris's case work has involved working with persons who have had injuries to all parts of the body; however, the primary injuries she has worked with are related to the back and upper extremity/hand.  Her Masters Degree thesis was on spinal cord injuries, and she possesses an excellent understanding of the medical and psychological aspects related to this subgroup.  In addition to working as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant, Kris has also worked as a Human Service Technician caring for challenged adults. She also has experience working with persons in the area of chemical dependency and has worked as a family coordinator.  Kris has worked with single parents, divorce transitions, hospice counseling and care to aid the psychosocial aspects.
