What is EDC?
Employee Development Corporation (EDC) is a private rehabilitation firm, certified by the State of Minnesota, which provides Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) services to persons who are industrially injured.

We Work With
All parties (employers, insurers, attorneys, doctors, etc.) who are involved with each injured worker, coordinating their input within a rehabilitation process to result in that worker's return to suitable work as quickly and safely as possible.

During Medical Recovery...
EDC works with each injured worker and his/her treating medical professionals to ensure proper, timely treatment and to remain current with the employee's level of recovery and functional limitations. This information is reviewed with each employee and then provided to the appropriate employer, insurer, attorney, managed care nurse, and others involved with the recovery.

When planning for a return to work...
EDC will review each employee's medical/vocational situation and help his/her employer develop a plan as to the most feasible return to employment.

The first consideration is...
A return to work with the pre-injury employer. EDC works with each pre-injury employer to determine if the injured worker can return to his/her pre-injury job, a similar job, or a new job.

Planned services provided are: If the injured worker cannot return to work with his/her previous employer...
EDC will assist each injured person to develop new job goal areas and a plan on how to obtain his/her new position. Services utilized include:

EDC will continue working with each injured employee until it is determined that the new job is appropriate and that the employer is satisfied with the work performance.
